The National Commission on Culture, in collaboration with Abeiku Sagoe Creative Consult, is set to hold a commemorative event in memory of Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
The event is scheduled for Monday, April 28th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum.
This initiative is led by veteran actor Mr. Abeiku Sagoe, the founder and producer at Abeiku Sagoe Creative Consult.
He believes that April 27th, the day Dr. Nkrumah passed away in 1972, should be observed annually in his honour. As 2025 marks the 53rd anniversary of Nkrumah’s passing, Mr. Sagoe highlights his legacy as a visionary leader who not only secured Ghana’s independence but also strongly advocated for African unity.
His enduring commitment to education, self-determination, impactful speeches, and cultural pride continues to inspire generations.
