The All African Book Fair, in collaboration with the National Commission on Culture, proudly announces the 2026 edition of the continent’s premier literary showcase, scheduled for February 2026 as part of the highly anticipated “Black Star Experience”. The fair will be celebrated under the theme “Voices of Africa,” a tribute to the powerful narratives, diverse perspectives, and rich storytelling traditions that define the continent’s literary heritage.
The 2026 event will shine a powerful global spotlight on African creativity, celebrating the richness of literary works while elevating Ghanaian authors, publishers, and storytellers onto the world stage. The 2026 All African Book Fair will bring together writers, publishers, cultural institutions, educators, students, and book lovers from across Africa and the diaspora. With a dynamic program of book exhibitions, author readings, panel discussions, children’s literacy activities, workshops, and cultural performances, the fair aims to deepen appreciation for African literature and strengthen the continent’s creative economy.
Speaking on the collaboration, the National Commission on Culture highlighted the importance of literature in preserving identity and promoting Ghana’s cultural heritage: “This partnership reinforces our commitment to nurturing the arts and amplifying the voices of Ghanaian creatives.
