The Executive Director of the National Commission on Culture, Nana Otuo Owoahene Acheampong has met the management of the Western North Centre for National Culture.
The Executive Director in his address encouraged the management team to work very hard to raise high the flag of the Centre, the Commission and Ghana as a whole.
He admonished the centre to organise frequent capacity building workshops for staff members especially in the areas of the newly approved Scheme of Service, the collective agreement and also the Public Service HR manual.
This he believes is the only way to encourage members of staff to execute their duties to effectively.
Nana Otuo Owoahene Acheampong, encourage the team to study critically the newly approved scheme of Service as it will help them with reworking of staff designation and arrangement of the various departments.
The Director of the Western North Regional Centre for National Culture, Mr Edmond King Gyamfi thanked the Executive Director for meeting with his management team and also for enlightening them on the steps to take to make WNR CNC better.
He assured the Executive Director his maximum cooperation and promised to work hand in hand with his team to raise high the flag of the National Commission on Culture.
He entreated the Executive Director to work on some of the challenges facing the Centre especially the lack of an official vehicle and equally important items.
